Our History

History

A brief note…

The Englewood Pirate Band has a rich musical history filled with many unique experiences and opportunities which continue to present themselves as the program continues to blossom. As the program matures, it continues to morph along with many music education concepts and schools of thought. The goal at Englewood has remained constant throughout the years just as a pirate’s motto to “pillage and plunder” never changes… We still want to see our students become leaders in society strengthened by the educational concepts they have learned throughout their time in our program. Our history is important to us, please read on to gather a full understanding of the history carried by the Englewood Pirate Band Program!

The Original Pirate Band Logo

The logo seen here was the original pirate band logo for over 25 years. It was this symbol that began to represent the growth and development of high school musicians throughout the state of Colorado as well as their impact on the community around them. [/one_half] [one_half last=last][/one_half]
